Let's Celebrate National Caregivers Day
National Caregivers Day, observed annually on the third Friday of February, is a special occasion dedicated to honoring the invaluable contributions of caregivers. At Jawonio, we take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to our exceptional care teams at every level. Each of our lifespan services division staff provides holistic and personalized services in: Early Childhood Education, Residential and Day Services, Mental Health Services, Vocational/Employment Services, as well as our Article 16 Clinic, Care Management and our Commercial Cleaning Company. Their selfless dedication and unwavering commitment to providing compassionate care are truly remarkable. Our staff is the reason why Jawonio is known, since 1947, as “The Place Where Miracles Happen Every Day”.

March 7th at 10am | Rally in the Valley | Clover Stadium, Rockland County, NY | A Powerful Show of Support
The upcoming Rally in the Valley will bring together 2,000 advocates from across New York State to demonstrate their unwavering support for our staff. This event serves as a powerful testament to the recognition and appreciation that our caregivers deserve. We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support from our community and stakeholders. We expect our elected officials on both the federal and state levels will commit to protecting Medicaid insurance while at the same time ensuring disability rights for all of the most vulnerable children and adults in our society.
