Spring Valley, NY - On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2019, Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) presented Jawonio with a $75,000 grant providing essential funds for the Jawonio PROS Program, which provides services for people with mental health challenges.
CEO Jill Warner accepted the check and said, "We are very grateful to Senator Carlucci for his ongoing support. The Senator has always been a staunch advocate on behalf of our most vulnerable population which includes children, adults, and their families with special needs."
Senator David Carlucci notes, "Funding for mental health services is paramount, and we need to make sure people who are getting help do not relapse. This funding will ensure Jawonio can offer an outpatient treatment program that helps people recovering from mental illness by giving them the support they need to lead healthy and productive lives."
We provide care for over 10,000 people with special needs each year.
