Inclusion of ASL at the Super Bowl Makes a Global Difference
With Super Bowl LVIII almost here, will Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their 3rd championship in the last 5 years? Well, no one has a crystal ball. However, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49rs, (who have a chance to win their 6th Lombardi Trophy) may have something to say about it. They are looking for revenge from their loss to the Chiefs in 2020.

A recent partnership between the National Association for the Deaf and the National Football League helped to make history in 2023. For almost 40 million Americans who are either Deaf, Deaf Blind, DeafDisabled or Hard of Hearing were left out. Not Any More.
Thanks to a partnership between the National Association of the Deaf and the NFL, this year will once again feature American Sign Language performances. This year’s ASL performances are: America, The Beautiful by Anjel Piñero; Lift Every Voice and Sing by Shaheem Sanchez, and the National Anthem performed by Daniel Durant.
