Spotlight on Virtual Learning During the Pandemic
Our exceptional Day Hab Staff into your homes each day by logging into our virtual learning sessions where they focus on facilitating discussions, provide feedback, and offer support.
Deliver the lesson when we are not live by incorporating the weekly schedules that are sent into your inbox you can follow along and reinforce the daily activities.
You are not alone as staff will guide you through the basic set-up for the remote sessions. If needed, remote learning supply kits will be delivered to your doorstep with contactless delivery.
Our goal is to maximize the day with interactive and engaging sessions. At this time four hours give us a full day and two give us a half-day. Sessions are scheduled so there is a break for lunch.
Person-centered activities are paramount so you have the option to drop into other sessions even if you are not in that specific program. You can personalize your day and meet new peers and instructors.
Fun, engaging sessions include a variety of educational and civic lessons, music, art, trivia, and exercise. We travel all over the world from the comfort of your home.
Learning as we go helps us to fine-tune our process. We have a robust self-advocacy meeting every Friday that allows you to discuss your thoughts about how programming, politics, and anything that impacts you.
