What is the Jawonio Cleaning Company:

Jawonio Cleaning Company is a unique business venture within Jawonio organization. 

How many cleaners are employed by the Jawonio Cleaning Company?

Unlike typical cleaning companies, Jawonio Cleaning employs over 160 individuals with disabilities, offering them meaningful employment opportunities, valuable job training, and a path towards personal growth and independence.

What is the Mission?

To provide janitorial services in Rockland and Westchester Counties in New York while promoting the social inclusion and economic empowerment of individuals with disabilities.

How many sites is the Jawonio Cleaning Company responsible for?

Jawonio has over 30 sites throughout the Hudson Valley, including commercial buildings, military bases, and government offices. Sites are secured by NYSID, which is the New York State Industries for the Disabled.

How many employees does the Jawonio Cleaning Company have?

We employ over 160 individuals with disabilities, offering competitive wages, benefits, and career development opportunities. Training is a core component for this very important service.

How does the Jawonio Cleaning Company Make an Impact?

We contribute significantly to Jawonio’s mission of supporting individuals with disabilities by providing them with stable employment, paying prevailing wages and fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.
