Brand New Offerings: Art, Yoga, and Cooking Classes at Jawonio

Begins May 4th

Jawonio is a trusted community resource dedicated to supporting individuals and strengthening connections through inclusive programs focused on community, resources, education, and wellness. As part of this commitment, Jawonio is introducing new community classes in art, yoga, and cooking beginning May 4.

Community Classes at Jawonio

(C.R.E.W. – Community, Resources, Education and Wellness)

Jawonio’s community classes are open to adults 18 years and older of all abilities. Classes are designed to promote wellness, creativity, and everyday living skills in a welcoming and supportive environment. No prior experience is required.

Each class is offered as a 6‑week session with one class per week.

Class Offerings

Healthy No‑Cook Cooking

  • Participants learn simple, nutritious, no‑cook recipes. Instruction includes adaptable options to support individual dietary needs.
  • Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4:30 PM

Self‑Expression Art

  • Participants explore creativity and self‑reflection through a variety of art materials and techniques in a structured, supportive setting.
  • Schedule: Thursdays, 3:30 – 4:30 PM

Yoga and Mindfulness

  • This class focuses on gentle movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices that support physical and emotional well‑being.
  • Schedule: Fridays, 2:00 – 3:00 PM

Class Information

Session Length: 6 weeks (one class per week)

Program Dates: May 4 through June 12

Fee: $210 per 6‑week session
