A Message from Randi Rios-Castro, CEO
Since 1947, summers have always been a magical time at Jawonio. From the first 6 children who attended “Camp Jawonio” to the over 70 children who are with us this summer for our Summer Education program, we are still the place where our students make friends forever. While receiving educational and therapeutic services during the day, our children expand their creativity through art, music and swimming. It is so wonderful to see the smiles and laughter on those beautiful faces each and every day.
We have so much to be proud of, across all of our programs and services thanks to our dedicated and compassionate staff, who lead the way each and everyday!
In Memoriam
This summer, we lost three beloved members of our Jawonio family:
Katherine Keating
Job Developer in Community Employment Services
Crystal O'Neil
Who lived in our Bobbi Lewis Group Home and participated in our Sunrise Court Day Habilitation Program
Donna Church
Who lived in our Levy House
They will all be dearly missed!
