Jawonio parent advocates and Jawonio Advocacy group members and staff met with Senator Tom Morahan(newly appointed Chair of the NYS Senate Mental Health and Hygience committee) as well as Assemblymembers Ken Zebrowski and Ellen Jaffee to discuss the upcoming budget challenges and to remind our legislators that services provided to people with disabilities are not optional, they are ESSENTIAL.  Thanks to Peter Carr of the Journal News who shot photographs of one of our sessions.
