Jawonio Commercial Cleaning provides cleaning services to government sites, commercial businesses and Jawonio locations. With over 150 employees working at over 30 sites throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties, we are always looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team.

Cleaners are responsible for performing daily cleaning services and periodic floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, etc. Our cleaners ensure a clean and safe work environment for customers, staff and visitors at every site they work at.

In additional to general cleaning staff, Jawonio is also actively seeking Floor Care Specialists. Candidates for this position will be responsible for stripping, waxing and finishing care for hard floors and shampooing of carpets and office furniture. Interested candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in floor care.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or
  • 1-2 years of janitorial experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Candidates for cleaning positions must be able to pass mandated criminal background checks and maintain acceptable record for the duration of employment.
