Vaccine Information
To Find out if you are eligible to receive the vaccine in NYS
New York State has now declared that front line workers who work in OPWDD and OMH programs are the priority in Phase 1A of vaccine distribution. The priority is for those essential staff providing direct care services to our individuals in LTCF are eligible to get the vaccine in this first phase. Please see the list of locations where you can get vaccinated in our area:
Jawonio staff is strictly enforcing its visitor policies and procedures in all buildings
and continually practicing all safety precautions.

Programs and Services:
- Preschool and Early Intervention services are being provided both in person and via tele-practice.
- PROS Behavioral Health Programs are being providing both in person and via TELE-HEALTH:

- Jawonio Day Services are being provided on site in person as well as in person at our residences in addition to via tele-practice.
Visitors Policy:
Visitors are allowed at our group homes in designated areas with a prior appointment. All visitors will be screened prior to the visit. iPads and laptops are available for virtual visits as well.
(Please note that any homes located in identified "red zones" will have additional safety precautions in place as per the NYS Department of Health and the Office of People with Disabilities (OPWDD) which may impact visitation.)
Our facilities in Rockland and Westchester will accept visitors with a scheduled appointment only. All visitors must be screened upon arrival.
